- ProblemA sales manager has to put together an integrator proposal fast: pick equipment, check compatibility, export to accounting. The catalog had been filled chaotically and was not ready to show clients.
- What I did
- Proposed the order of work: catalog structure first (about 20 normalized categories modeled on major distributors), then filling it against two completeness thresholds, for filters and for key specs.
- Wrote modules with tests, documentation and CI so the team can evolve them without me.
- Connected the product to 1C and Telegram so nobody re-types data.
- Exposed the catalog to AI agents via MCP so selection can happen in a conversation.
- ResultLaunched. Over three months of repository history I authored about 2/3 of commits among eight contributors.
- Stack and approachPython, FastAPI, MCP, 1C, Telegram; tests and CI from the first module.
